**Pricing:** request-for-quote — pieces are custom, so the site carries no list prices.
**Ships:** across India; export enquiries welcome.
**About the image:** a design visualisation, not a photograph of stock on hand. The piece is carved to order after the design is agreed.
**Availability:** made to order.

A serene standing Buddha in Vitarka (teaching) mudra, the raised hand joining thumb and forefinger in the gesture of explaining the Dharma. It is carved in Bhainslana black marble from Rajasthan, a dense, near-black stone with no visible veining, and finished with a deep mirror polish. Light picks out the long robe folds, the calm face and the hands in clean highlights, while the recesses fall to black. At 24 inches the statue stands well on a plinth, a console or a wide shelf, and suits a meditation room, a home entrance, a reception or a covered courtyard. Marble keeps a mirror polish best indoors or under a roof. Every piece is made to order and carved for you by our sculpting team. Tell us where it will stand and we will quote it.
