## Swami Samarth in dhyan, in black marble

Shree Swami Samarth of Akkalkot is one of the most beloved guru-saints of the Datta tradition, revered across Maharashtra and beyond as a living embodiment of grace. This 27-inch murti renders him exactly as devotees hold him in the heart: an elderly ascetic seated in serene meditation, his long beard flowing down a bare chest, a simple shawl drawn across one shoulder, and a calm, luminous gaze that seems to look inward and outward at once.

## The cross-legged seat, and commissioning this 27-inch murti

Hand-carved from a single block of jet-black marble, the statue is finished to a deep, mirror-like polish that gives the dark stone a quiet gravity. Our artisans in Jaipur work each detail by hand (the fine strands of the beard, the folds of the draped shawl, the open palms resting in dhyana mudra) so that the finished piece reads as both contemporary and timeless. The black stone was chosen deliberately: it lends the form a contemplative weight that suits the saint's stillness.

Seated cross-legged with eyes gently lowered and hands cupped open in the lap, the murti captures Swami Samarth in the posture of inner absorption. Placed on its plain carved plinth, it becomes a natural focal point for daily prayer, quiet reflection, or simply a moment of pause in a busy home.

Made to order, this Swami Samarth murti is ideal for a home mandir, a dedicated meditation room, or a contemplative corner where its dark, polished presence can anchor the space. Every piece is custom-carved, so dimensions and finish can be tailored to your setting.
