All four arms are here and true to the shrine at Tirumala: the Sudarshana chakra held aloft in the upper-right hand, the Panchajanya shankha in the upper-left, the lower-right hand turned downward in varada toward the feet, and the lower-left resting on the hip in the katyavalambita pose. A tall, tapering kiritamukuta crown rises over the face, and the broad white U-shaped tirunamam is drawn clean across the brow. That single detail tells you, at a glance, this is Balaji and no other Vishnu form. The piece is hand-carved from black marble and finished to a high mirror polish, so the stone reads as a rich, unbroken jet-black that catches soft light along every fold of the garments and every petal of the layered flower garlands. Goddess Lakshmi sits on the chest, the ornamental jewellery is worked in fine relief, and the murti stands elevated on a carved lotus pedestal.
