Where the classic Dagdusheth idol is remembered in white and gold, this rendering trades cool marble for the soft blush-pink of Rajasthan, a stone whose rosy, feminine glow suits a home mandir that leans warm and lived-in rather than gallery-cold. The four-armed deity sits in easy repose on a fully carved lotus pedestal, the little mushak looking up devotedly from below. The piece is hand-carved from Dholpur Pink Sandstone, a stone prized in Rajput-era palace and temple work. It has a fine, even grain, with gentle grey and deeper-rose veining that drifts softly through the pink ground. TMW works with independent master sculptors who cut each Dagdusheth Ganpati to order, so the ornate mukut, the layered bead necklaces, the pleated dhoti and the petals of the lotus base all carry genuine chisel detail finished to a satin (soft-polish) glow that catches lamplight without turning mirror-bright. ## A complete and canonical Ganpati form, at 18 inches Iconographically the form is complete and canonical: the raised right hand offers abhaya, the blessing of fearlessness, while a lower hand cradles the modak. The upper hands hold the ankusha and the pasha, and the trunk curves to the deity's left toward the sweet in the auspicious vaamamukhi turn. The mushak, Ganesha's vahana, rests at the base of the lotus, completing the darshan for daily worship. At 18 inches this is a substantial centrepiece for a home temple, pooja room or entrance niche: large enough to anchor Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, right-sized for year-round aarti, and a warm, auspicious choice for a housewarming or vastu placement. As a made-to-order piece, dimensions, finish and detailing can be tuned to your mandir; share your space and TMW will guide the commission. ## Specifications - **Material:** Dholpur Pink Sandstone - **Finish:** Matte / soft-honed - **Colour:** Blush Pink - **Height:** 18 inches - **Width:** 12 inches - **Depth:** 10 inches - **Weight:** 32 kg - **Ideal for:** Home temple / mandir, Vastu placement, Ganesh Chaturthi, Housewarming gift Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/Statue%20product%20images/dholpur-pink-sandstone-dagdusheth-ganpati-lotus-18in.webp (primary, concept render) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) ## Related pieces - [Dholpur Pink Sandstone Dagdusheth Ganpati with Gold-Leaf on Singhasan, 24 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/dholpur-pink-sandstone-dagdusheth-ganpati-gold-leaf-singhasan-24in) - [Dholpur Pink Sandstone Ballaleshwar of Pali on Cypress-Tree Throne, 18 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/dholpur-pink-sandstone-ballaleshwar-pali-cypress-throne-18in) - [Dholpur Pink Sandstone Ganesh Playing the Veena, 18 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/dholpur-pink-sandstone-veena-ganesh-18in) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'd%20like%20a%20quote%20to%20have%20this%20design%20made%3A%20Dholpur%20Pink%20Sandstone%20Dagdusheth%20Ganpati%20on%20Lotus%20Pedestal%2C%2018%20in.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fdholpur-pink-sandstone-dagdusheth-ganpati-lotus-18in - Tell us the size, the stone and where it is going.
