## Venkateswara in alankaram, in blush sandstone

Lord Venkateswara, the Tirupati Balaji of Tirumala, stands in full alankaram in this 24-inch Dholpur Pink Sandstone murti, dressed for darshan with gold ornaments, a jewelled crown and fresh flower garlands. It is a devotional centrepiece designed for a home pooja room, carrying the warmth and abundance of the Seven Hills into a family shrine.

The iconography stays faithful to the Tirumala vigraha. Balaji stands upright in the sthanaka posture on a lotus pedestal, four-armed: the Sudarshana chakra rests in the upper-right hand and the Panchajanya shankha in the upper-left, while the lower-right hand opens in the varada mudra toward His feet, the gesture of refuge, and the lower-left rests on the hip in katyavalambita. A tall conical kiritamukuta crowns Him, and the white U-shaped tirunamam marks His forehead.

## Dholpur pink sandstone

The stone is Dholpur Pink Sandstone, a soft, warm blush that glows in lamp and camphor light, quite unlike the cool white of Makrana. Finished to a satin soft-polish, the surface keeps a gentle luminosity while every hand-carved fold of the drape and every ornament stays crisply defined.

Every piece is made to order through our network of master sculptors in Jaipur, so the height, stone tone and depth of the alankaram detailing can be tailored to your mandir. Ideal as a pooja room centrepiece, a festive Vaikuntha Ekadashi or Brahmotsavam display, or a milestone gift for a family that keeps Balaji as their kuladevata.
