He sits back against a large bolster rather than on a throne, with his lower right hand raised in abhaya and his trunk curled to his left, holding a yellow laddu. On the base beside him is a full bowl of laddus, and on the other side his mouse sits up holding a sweet of its own. ## The painting The stone is Vietnam white marble, polished, and the colour is applied by hand over it. The halo behind his head is outlined in gold with rays like a star, and the crown is picked out in gold scrolls with touches of blue. His ears and palms are tinted pink, the eyes and brows are painted in, and a long garland of pink, lilac and green beads falls across his body to his lap. Gold lines trace the edges of the dhoti and the lotus petals that run around the base. The mouse is painted brown, so it stands out against the white. Because the painting is done by hand, the lines are fine but not machine-even, and that is part of the charm of a piece like this. ## Size, and where it suits The statue is 12 inches tall. A foot-high Ganesha fits on a home mandir shelf, a study table or a reception desk, and it is the size most people choose when they give a Ganesha as a gift for a new home, a new office or Diwali. Painted surfaces are best cleaned with a soft dry cloth, without water or polish. Exact width, depth and weight are confirmed before dispatch. ## About the picture on this page The photograph is of this exact statue. It was taken against a black studio cloth, and that background has been replaced with a plain one. The statue and its painting have not been altered or redrawn. ## Who made it It was carved and painted by the artisans we work with in India. We handle the enquiry, the checks before dispatch, the packing and the shipping to you. ## Specifications - **Material:** Vietnam White Marble - **Finish:** Polished, hand-painted - **Colour:** White with gold, pink and green painting - **Height:** 12 inches - **Ideal for:** Home mandir, Gifting, Office desk Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/vendor-inventory/1789801288-white-marble-ganesha-seated-statue/photograph-cutout.webp (primary, photograph of the actual piece) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) - [Ganesh Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/ganesh-statues) ## Related pieces - [Vietnam White Marble Varadvinayak of Mahad with Lotus Pedestal and Lamp Niche, 15 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-varadvinayak-mahad-lotus-lamp-niche-15in) - [Handcrafted Vietnam White Marble Ganesh with Large Modak, 15in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-ganesh-large-modak-15in) - [Vietnam White Marble Lalbaugcha Raja on Lion Throne, 15 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-lalbaugcha-raja-lion-throne-15in) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'm%20interested%20in%20this%20ready-to-ship%20piece%3A%20Hand-Painted%20Vietnam%20White%20Marble%20Ganesha%20with%20Laddu%20Bowl%2C%2012in.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fhand-painted-vietnam-white-marble-ganesha-laddu-12in - Tell us where it is going.
