It is the presiding deity of the city's grandest Ganeshotsav, worshipped for prosperity, wisdom and the removal of obstacles. This hand-carved murti brings that same regal, benevolent presence into your home at a graceful 12-inch scale, sized for a home mandir yet detailed like a flagship temple idol. Carved from Makrana White Marble, the legendary Rajasthani stone of the Taj Mahal and the Dilwara temples, the piece reads as a brilliant, natural white with the softest warm undertone. TMW works with independent master sculptors in Jaipur who shape each idol by hand, so the crisp lotus petals, the layered ornament of the mukut and the fine chisel detail across the trunk and jewellery all carry the mark of a craftsman rather than a mould. ## The classic Dagdusheth darshan, four-armed on a lotus The iconography follows the classic Dagdusheth darshan. Ganpati is seated four-armed with a tall, ornate mukut, His lower right hand cradling a modak and His raised palm offering the abhaya blessing of fearlessness, while the upper hands hold the lotus and the shankha. The potbelly, the single broken tusk and the small mushak (mouse) seated attentively at the base complete the sacred form, and the whole murti rests on a fully carved lotus pedestal that keeps the deity elevated and dignified. At 12 inches this is an ideal daily-worship murti for a home temple, and a meaningful gift for Ganesh Chaturthi, a griha pravesh or a new beginning. Finished in a soft satin polish that lets the marble glow under mandir light, it is made to order, so allow time for the carving and the careful, protected shipping that a stone idol of this quality deserves. ## Specifications - **Material:** Makrana White Marble - **Finish:** Soft polish (satin) - **Colour:** Natural White - **Height:** 12 inches - **Width:** 8 inches - **Depth:** 6 inches - **Weight:** 13 kg - **Ideal for:** home temple, daily worship, gifting Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/Statue%20product%20images/makrana-white-marble-dagdusheth-ganpati-lotus-12in.webp (primary, concept render) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) ## Related pieces - [Makrana White Marble Dagdusheth Ganpati for Desk and Office, 9 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/makrana-white-marble-dagdusheth-ganpati-desk-9in) - [Makrana White Marble Siddhivinayak of Siddhatek on Gold-Leaf Singhasan, 24 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/makrana-white-marble-siddhivinayak-siddhatek-gold-leaf-singhasan-24in) - [Makrana White Marble Dagdusheth Ganpati with Polychrome Finish and Prabhavali Arch, 24 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/makrana-white-marble-dagdusheth-ganpati-polychrome-prabhavali-24in) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'd%20like%20a%20quote%20to%20have%20this%20design%20made%3A%20Makrana%20White%20Marble%20Dagdusheth%20Ganpati%20on%20Lotus%20Pedestal%2C%2012%20in.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fmakrana-white-marble-dagdusheth-ganpati-lotus-12in - Tell us the size, the stone and where it is going.
