## Dagdusheth Ganpati in polychrome under a prabhavali

This 24-inch Dagdusheth Ganpati is carved from a single block of Makrana white marble and finished in the traditional polychrome temple palette of red, saffron and gold. Bappa sits four-armed and serene beneath a carved prabhavali torana arch, a raised palm offering blessing while the other hands hold a modak, a lotus and a bowl of sweets. The faithful mushak keeps watch at the lotus base, exactly as devotees expect to see him.

The form follows the beloved Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati of Pune, one of Maharashtra's most revered and photographed idols. The generous belly, the ornate jewelled crown, the layered garlands and the flowing dhoti are all rendered in the warm, celebratory colours of a festival murti, so the piece reads instantly as Bappa rather than a plain white statue. The prabhavali arch, crowned with a small kirtimukha face, frames the deity the way a temple sanctum would.

## Made to order by the sculptors we work with, at 24 inches

Each statue is made to order by the independent master sculptors we work with in Jaipur, then hand-painted layer by layer so the gold detailing, the fine facial markings and the trunk's ornamentation catch the light. Because it is worked entirely by hand, no two pieces are identical; subtle differences in the brushwork and carving are the signature of a genuinely handcrafted murti.

At 24 inches the idol suits a home mandir, a pooja room or a Ganesh Chaturthi festival setting, where it can serve as the seated centrepiece for daily aarti and seasonal celebration. We can adjust the size, palette and detailing to match your temple space on request.
