## Rajlakshmi at temple scale, in Makrana marble

This temple-scale Rajlakshmi is hand-carved from a single block of Makrana white marble, the same prized Rajasthani stone that clads the Taj Mahal. Standing 48 inches (4 feet) tall, the four-armed Mahalakshmi is seated in regal ease, the Rajlakshmi form, upon an ornate lotus throne with a tall arched, fully carved backrest.

Every attribute of the goddess of wealth is rendered in crisp relief: lotus blooms rise from her upper hands, her lower right hand opens in the varada mudra of blessing, and her lower left cradles a brimming kalash from which a strand of coins cascades onto the lotus pedestal. Layered necklaces, carved bangles, and an elaborate mukut crown frame a serene, benevolent face.

## A satin polish on four feet of Makrana, and commissioning yours

Finished to a soft satin polish, the Makrana marble reads a bright, luminous natural white, with the fine crystalline grain and gentle subsurface glow that only genuine calcite stone gives. The carving is entirely by hand, the work of master sculptors from Tilak Mandirwala's Jaipur network, with every chisel transition, coin bead, and petal edge worked individually.

At four feet and temple weight, this Rajlakshmi is made for a temple sanctum, community mandir, or a large home pooja room where a commanding murti anchors Lakshmi puja and Diwali worship. As a made-to-order piece, its dimensions, finish, and detailing can be tailored to your sthan.
