The face carries the soft, mischievous smile of the makhan-chor, framed by a peacock-feather mor mukut and a crisp Vaishnava tilak, with layered bead malas and a delicate waistband carved in fine relief. Every curl, dimple, and toe is worked by hand, so the piece reads as a living child rather than a static idol. This 12-inch murti is hand-carved from Vietnam White Marble in its milky-white grade, a bright, cool, close-grained stone prized for taking crisp detail and holding a clean, luminous white without the warm cream cast of other marbles. Finished to a soft satin polish, the surface glows gently under diya light rather than throwing a hard mirror glare, letting the sculpted folds and beadwork stay legible from every angle. ## How devotees keep Laddu Gopal, and commissioning yours Bal Gopal is the beating heart of countless Vaishnava homes. Devotees dress, bathe, feed, and swing their Laddu Gopal daily as one would a beloved child, and this compact scale is made for exactly that intimacy: light enough to lift onto a jhula, sized right for a home pooja altar, a tabletop shrine, or a mandir niche. It comes into its own at Janmashtami, when Krishna's midnight birth is celebrated with butter, sweets, and song. At roughly a foot tall on its integrated lotus base, the statue anchors a small altar without crowding it, and makes a heartfelt gift for a housewarming, a new marriage, or a devotee beginning their own Laddu Gopal seva. Each piece is individually carved, so natural marble veining and subtle tool character make every murti one of a kind. ## Specifications - **Material:** Vietnam White Marble - **Finish:** Soft Polish (satin) - **Colour:** Natural White - **Height:** 12 inches - **Width:** 8 inches - **Depth:** 7 inches - **Weight:** 9 kg - **Ideal for:** Home altar, Janmashtami gift, Tabletop shrine Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/Statue%20product%20images/vietnam-white-marble-bal-gopal-laddu-gopal-1ft.webp (primary, concept render) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) - [Krishna](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/krishna-statues) ## Related pieces - [Vietnam White Marble Crawling Makhan Chor Laddu Gopal, 12 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-crawling-makhan-chor-12in) - [Vietnam White Marble Santan Gopal on Lotus Chowki, 12 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-santan-gopal-lotus-chowki-12in) - [Handcrafted Vietnam White Marble Krishna on Lotus Statue, 2ft](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-krishna-on-lotus-2ft) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'd%20like%20a%20quote%20to%20have%20this%20design%20made%3A%20Handcrafted%20Vietnam%20White%20Marble%20Bal%20Gopal%20(Laddu%20Gopal)%20Statue%2C%201ft.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fvietnam-white-marble-bal-gopal-laddu-gopal-1ft - Tell us the size, the stone and where it is going.
