## Pune's most cherished Ganesha, at 15 inches

This handcrafted Dagdusheth Ganpati statue brings the beloved form of Pune's most cherished Ganesha into your home. Modelled on the richly adorned Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati, the deity sits serene and regal, one hand raised in blessing while the trunk curves left toward a modak: the promise of prosperity and the gentle removal of obstacles.

The piece is carved from Vietnam White Marble, a bright, cool-toned stone prized for its clean porcelain-white body and fine crystalline grain. Finished with a natural mirror polish, the surface catches light softly without ever looking glassy, letting the crispness of the carving (the beaded ornaments, the tiered mukut, the folds of the dhoti) read clearly from across a room.

## Four arms, mukut and traditional iconography in Vietnam marble

Every detail follows traditional iconography: four arms holding auspicious attributes, a tall ornate mukut, layered malas across the chest, and the faithful mushak resting at the base of the lotus, gazing up at his lord. The lotus itself is carved petal by petal, raising the deity gently above its surroundings.

At 15 inches, the statue is sized for a home mandir, a console shrine, or a contemporary interior where a single striking devotional piece anchors the space. Its cool white palette sits comfortably against both warm wood and modern neutral tones, and it comes into its own during Ganesh Chaturthi and daily puja alike.

Tilak Mandirwala works with independent master sculptors in Jaipur to make each piece to order, so minor natural variations in grain and veining are part of the stone's character. Dimensions and finish can be tailored on request.
