The lower right hand is raised in abhaya with a red Om on the palm, the lower left holds a modak, and the trunk turns to his left toward it. The upper hands raise two carved emblems on short stems, one on each side of the crown. The detail people notice first is the mala: a long carved strand of beads that hangs from his neck past his folded knee. On the base, a small bowl of modaks sits at his right foot and his mouse stands up at the left-hand corner, looking out. ## Carving and colour The piece is carved from Vietnam white marble, whiter and cooler than most Indian white marble, and polished to a soft shine. The painting is limited to a red trishul tilak, painted eyes and a fine orange line down the trunk. The round halo behind the crown is carved open, so light passes through its edge. The figure, throne and base are one composition, finished with a carved scroll border around the plinth. ## Size, and where it suits The statue is 18 inches tall, a size that suits most home mandirs and pooja room shelves, with room around it for a diya and flowers. It is also a common choice as a griha pravesh or wedding gift. Exact width, depth and weight are confirmed before dispatch. ## About the picture on this page The photograph is of this exact statue. It was taken against a black studio cloth, and that background has been replaced with a plain one. The statue itself has not been altered or redrawn. ## Who made it It was carved by the artisans we work with in India. We handle the enquiry, the checks before dispatch, the packing and the shipping to you. ## Specifications - **Material:** Vietnam White Marble - **Finish:** Polished, with painted tilak and eye detail - **Colour:** White - **Height:** 18 inches - **Ideal for:** Home mandir, Pooja room, Gifting Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/vendor-inventory/1789801331-white-marble-ganesha-seated-statue/photograph-cutout.webp (primary, photograph of the actual piece) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) - [Ganesh Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/ganesh-statues) ## Related pieces - [Vietnam White Marble Varadvinayak of Mahad with Lotus Pedestal and Lamp Niche, 15 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-varadvinayak-mahad-lotus-lamp-niche-15in) - [Handcrafted Vietnam White Marble Ganesh with Large Modak, 15in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-ganesh-large-modak-15in) - [Vietnam White Marble Lalbaugcha Raja on Lion Throne, 15 in](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-lalbaugcha-raja-lion-throne-15in) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'm%20interested%20in%20this%20ready-to-ship%20piece%3A%20Handcrafted%20Vietnam%20White%20Marble%20Ganesha%20on%20Throne%20with%20Long%20Mala%2C%2018in.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fvietnam-white-marble-ganesha-throne-mala-18in - Tell us where it is going.
