# Vietnam White Marble Meditating Buddha for an Indoor Water Feature, 4 Feet > A 4ft Vietnam white marble Buddha in dhyana mudra on a double lotus base, sized for the edge of an indoor reflecting pool. **Source:** https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-meditating-buddha-for-an-indoor-water-feature-4-feet **Business:** Tilak Mandirwala — made-to-order marble temples (mandirs), statues and decorative handicrafts. Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Founded 2006. **How it works:** Each piece is carved to order by the independent master sculptors TMW works with in Jaipur's Khajane Walon Ka Rasta sculptors' market. TMW designs the piece with the customer, briefs the sculptor, and follows it through to delivery and installation. **Pricing:** request-for-quote — pieces are custom, so the site carries no list prices. **Ships:** across India; export enquiries welcome. **About the image:** a design visualisation, not a photograph of stock on hand. The piece is carved to order after the design is agreed. **Availability:** made to order. This four-foot Buddha sits cross-legged in dhyana mudra, the gesture of meditation: both hands rest in the lap, right palm over left, and the eyes are half closed in an inward gaze. He is seated on a broad double lotus base, two tiers of full, rounded petals, with a plain plinth below. The proportions are deliberate. At 48 inches the figure holds its own beside a reflecting pool or a still water channel, and the wide lotus lets the statue sit at the water's edge so the petals read just above the waterline. ## The stone: Vietnam white marble Vietnam white marble is a cooler, cleaner white than most Indian marbles, closer to fresh milk than to ivory, with only faint grey clouding in places. It takes a soft satin polish well. Highlights roll gently across the shoulders, the folds of the robe and the swell of each lotus petal, and thin edges such as the earlobes and the robe hem carry a slight translucency in good light. Beside water that coolness matters: the white stays crisp against green leaves and dark reflections instead of turning cream. ## Made for an indoor water feature The piece is planned for a covered courtyard, an atrium pool, a spa entrance or a meditation room with a water wall. A satin-polished surface is easy to wipe clean of mineral spotting from splashes, and the solid double lotus base gives the figure a stable footprint on a stone ledge or a raised plinth at the pool's edge. If your feature has a specific ledge depth or viewing height, tell us when you enquire and we will adjust the base and the overall height to suit the space. ## Carved to your brief Every statue is carved to order by the master sculptors we work with in Rajasthan, so the details can follow your setting: a taller plinth to lift the figure above the water, a simpler single lotus, or a smaller size for a tabletop fountain. We design the piece with you, agree the drawing with you before carving begins, and arrange crating and delivery to your door, in India or abroad. ## Specifications - **Material:** Vietnam White Marble - **Finish:** Soft polish (satin) - **Colour:** Cool White - **Height:** 48 inches - **Width:** 24 inches - **Depth:** 22 inches - **Weight:** 381 kg - **Ideal for:** Indoor water feature, Reflecting pool, Covered courtyard, Meditation room Stone, size and finish are all changeable — these are the specifications of the piece as shown. ## Media ### Images (1) - https://vptrobfqdvauunfvodxw.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/tmw-media-assets/Statue%20product%20images/vietnam-white-marble-meditating-buddha-for-an-indoor-water-feature-4-feet.webp (primary, concept render) All media is public and CORS-open — fetch directly, no signing or proxy needed. ## Part of - [Statues](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/collections/custom-marble-statues) ## Related pieces - [Vietnam White Marble Large Meditating Buddha for an Atrium Water Feature, 6 Feet](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-large-meditating-buddha-for-an-atrium-water-feature-6-feet) - [Vietnam White Marble Minimal Meditating Buddha for a Modern Water Feature, 30 Inch](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-minimal-meditating-buddha-for-a-modern-water-feature-30-inch) - [Vietnam White Marble Dharmachakra Buddha for a Temple Pond, 3 Feet](https://www.tilakmandirwala.com/products/vietnam-white-marble-dharmachakra-buddha-for-a-temple-pond-3-feet) ## Enquire about this piece - WhatsApp, message pre-written: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=919766532408&text=Hi!%20I'd%20like%20a%20quote%20to%20have%20this%20design%20made%3A%20Vietnam%20White%20Marble%20Meditating%20Buddha%20for%20an%20Indoor%20Water%20Feature%2C%204%20Feet.%20Product%20link%3A%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tilakmandirwala.com%2Fproducts%2Fvietnam-white-marble-meditating-buddha-for-an-indoor-water-feature-4-feet - Tell us the size, the stone and where it is going.
