Lord Venkateswara — the Tirupati Balaji of Tirumala — stands in full alankaram in this 24-inch pink marble murti, dressed for darshan with gold ornaments, a jewelled crown and fresh flower garlands. It is a devotional centrepiece designed for a home pooja room, carrying the warmth and abundance of the Seven Hills into a family shrine. The iconography stays faithful to the Tirumala vigraha. Balaji stands upright in the sthanaka posture on a lotus pedestal, four-armed: the Sudarshana chakra rests in the upper-right hand and the Panchajanya shankha in the upper-left, while the lower-right hand opens in the varada mudra toward His feet — the gesture of refuge — and the lower-left rests on the hip in katyavalambita. A tall conical kiritamukuta crowns Him, and the white U-shaped tirunamam marks His forehead. The stone is Rajasthani pink marble from around Kishangarh — a soft, warm blush that glows in lamp and camphor light, quite unlike the cool white of Makrana.
