Frequently asked questions

Get answers to common questions about our custom sculptures

How long does a custom Lakshmi marble statue take to make?

Typically 6–10 weeks, depending on the stone, size, and detail level. A Gaja Lakshmi with flanking elephants or a fully ornamented four-armed form takes longer than a simple seated idol. If you are ordering for Diwali or a shop opening, message us early — we plan the carving schedule backwards from your date. We share progress photos at each milestone so you stay involved.

Which form of Lakshmi can you carve?

We carve every popular form: Gaja Lakshmi (seated on a lotus, flanked by two elephants), standing Lakshmi showering coins, the classic seated four-armed Lakshmi on a lotus, and Ashta Lakshmi panels for temples. The goddess always keeps her canonical attire — a red or pink sari, four arms holding lotus blooms and a coin-pouring varada hand. Share a reference image on WhatsApp and we adapt the form, ornaments, and expression to your vision.

What size Lakshmi statue should I choose?

For a home pooja room or shelf, 9–15 inches works well. For a living-room or entrance centrepiece, 18–30 inches. For a shop, showroom, or business reception, 2–3 ft makes a strong presence, and temple installs go larger still. Send a photo of the spot on WhatsApp and we’ll suggest a height that sits in proportion — Lakshmi is traditionally placed at eye level or above, never at floor level.

Can you deliver in time for Diwali or a shop opening?

Yes, if you plan ahead. Diwali and Dhanteras are our busiest weeks, so a custom Lakshmi ordered 8–10 weeks before the date is comfortable; rush timelines are sometimes possible for smaller idols. For business openings and Griha Pravesh, tell us the muhurat date and we build the schedule around it. We confirm a firm delivery window in writing before you pay the balance.

Which marble can I choose? Do you make these in stones other than white?

You can choose from several stones: Makrana white marble (the classic warm-white — the same stone used in the Taj Mahal), statuario (premium Italian white with bolder veining), Indian green marble, black marble, and marble dust for budget pieces. Most Lakshmi idols are commissioned in Makrana white because it suits pooja-room and temple settings, but we craft in any stone you specify. Tell us your preference on WhatsApp before we start so we can source the right stone.

Do you ship a Lakshmi statue internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Lakshmi idols are a common NRI and gifting order, so we pack every piece in multi-layer wooden crating built for long transit. International freight cost depends on destination, size, and insurance; shipping to the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia is routine. We share an exact freight quote once the statue’s size and stone are finalised.

What is the payment process?

We collect a small advance (10–25%) to begin — it covers stone procurement and artisan time. The balance is due only after your Lakshmi arrives safely at your address. You approve final photos before we crate and dispatch, so there are no surprises. For international orders we agree the freight terms in writing upfront.
