This seated Lakshmi is carved in the classic Mahalakshmi form — four arms, the upper two raising fully open lotus blooms, the lower right hand turned outward in varada mudra to bestow blessings, and the lower left cradling an overflowing kalash, the vessel of abundance. She rests in serene padmasana upon a broad, full-bloom lotus, its petals fanning out beneath her in crisp, deep relief. The statue is hand-carved in Vietnam White Marble, a bright, fine-grained stone with a clean, cool undertone that reads as a true porcelain white rather than the warm cream of Makrana. Its compact crystalline grain holds fine detail beautifully — you can see it in the layered crown, the beaded necklaces, and the pleating of her sari. Finished to a soft satin polish, the surface glows gently under diya light without the glare of a mirror shine.
