Diwali gift ideas in marble and stone
Every piece here suits Diwali. Most are two feet or smaller; a few larger designs, up to three feet, are shown for their carving and can be made at twelve to twenty-four inches as a gift. Each can be made to order in quantity, from one gift to several hundred, and some already exist and can ship without a carving wait. Tell us the pieces, the count and your date.

Marble Diwali gifts, and who they are bought by
A marble Diwali gift is bought by four kinds of people, and this collection is built for all of them. Individual gifters choose one piece for parents, in-laws or a close friend. Families gift down a list of relatives and the households they visit, often twenty or thirty pieces at once. Companies gift clients, partners and their own teams. And gifting and event planners source for all three, usually with a budget per head, a count and a delivery date already fixed.
In 2026 Lakshmi Puja falls on 8 November, with Dhanteras two days earlier, and everything here is chosen against that date. Most pieces are two feet or smaller, so they can be handed over, carried home or shipped without a large crate. A few larger Lakshmi and Ganesha designs, up to three feet, are shown for their carving; any of them can be made at twelve to twenty-four inches as a gift. The range runs from a four-inch kumkum and haldi pair to a three-foot Lakshmi-Ganesh pair on a carved chowki. Nothing carries a price, because that depends on the piece, the stone and the count. Pick what suits each list, tell us how many, and we quote against it.
What is in this Diwali collection
Lakshmi-Ganesh murtis. The centre of any Diwali puja, and the gift most families want to give. The pair runs from a compact 8-inch pair on a shared lotus base and a 12-inch pair on lotus thrones up to 18-inch pairs, plus a South Indian style pair in black stone and a 12-inch cast pair with hand-painted gold accents. A Lakshmi on a lotus and small Ganesha forms such as a 9-inch desk Ganpati sit beside them.
Showpieces for prosperity. A Dhan Lakshmi with gold coins in black stone, a Gaja Lakshmi in pink sandstone, a 9-inch Lalbaugcha Raja for a desk, and Laughing Buddha forms such as a laughing Buddha bust and an 18-inch gift-giving Buddha. These suit a friend, a client or an office reception rather than a puja room. Larger designs such as a 30-inch Kamala Lakshmi with lotuses or a 30-inch Lakshmi-Ganesh pair on lotus thrones are here to show the design; tell us the size you want and the same composition is carved smaller.
Light. A lotus diya holder, a pierced jali tealight lantern, a black stone hurricane lantern, fluted candle holders and a pair of dome jali lamps. Marble lets light through at its thin edges, so a lit jali glows rather than simply casting a pattern.
The puja table. A pooja thali set, a boxed pooja gift set, a 6-inch Lakshmi Ganesh chowki gift set, a kumkum and haldi pair with brass lids, a shagun thali with its coin vessel, a lotus-seat chowki and an incense holder.
Mithai, mewa and the table. A partitioned dry-fruit box, inlaid serving trays, a lotus-petal urli for floating flowers and diyas, and coaster sets.
For desks and offices. Boxed desk sets in black stone, a keepsake box and a pen stand with a low-relief Ganesha.
Choosing a Lakshmi-Ganesh murti to give at Diwali
A Lakshmi-Ganesh murti given at Diwali is installed, not displayed, so the useful question is where it will sit in the recipient's home. An 8-inch pair fits a wall-mounted mandir or a shelf. A 12-inch pair is the standard size for a freestanding home mandir. An 18-inch pair belongs in a room set aside for puja, or a family that already has a large mandir.
Many households buy a new pair each Diwali and immerse the old clay one. A marble Lakshmi-Ganesh pair is the version that is kept, which is why it is so often given by parents to a son or daughter setting up their first home. If you are not sure of the recipient's mandir, the 12-inch pair is the safe choice. The full range, including standing and singhasan compositions, is on the Lakshmi Ganesh pair page.
Bulk Diwali gifting for companies, planners and large families
Bulk is the normal case for a Diwali order, not an exception. A company sending to two hundred clients, a planner sourcing for an event, and a family gifting forty relatives all need the same three things: one piece that suits everyone on the list, a price per piece that holds at the count, and delivery by a date that cannot move.
For a mixed list, black stone desk sets, dry-fruit boxes and coaster sets carry no religious imagery and suit any faith. For family businesses and long-standing trade relationships, where a devotional gift is expected, the 6-inch Lakshmi Ganesh chowki set and the lotus diya holder are the usual choices.
The count changes the piece. Twenty boxed desk sets for senior clients can carry brass inlay. Two hundred pieces should be small, low-relief and quick to repeat, such as coasters, the chowki set or a compact diya holder. A tiered list works well: one worked piece for the top twenty, one simpler piece for everyone else. A company name, a logo or a short Diwali line can be engraved or set in brass wire on most flat faces, with a proof before anything is cut. Pieces can be delivered to one office for handing out, or straight to each recipient from a list you send.
Ordering for Diwali 2026: ready now, or made for you
There are two ways a Diwali gift reaches you, and with 8 November fixed the difference matters.
Some pieces already exist, either held by us or already carved by the sculptors and artist families we work with in Rajasthan. Tell us the form and size and we ask them directly, then send photographs of the actual piece. When one is right there is no carving wait, and delivery is typically about two weeks depending on where you are.
Everything else is commissioned. Small decorative pieces take about four to eight weeks and a Lakshmi-Ganesh murti typically four to six weeks, depending on size and detail, so for a commissioned Diwali gift the first half of October is the realistic window. Send your list and your date first, and we will say plainly which route each piece is on.
Choosing the stone for a Diwali gift
Makrana white marble is the expected choice for a Lakshmi-Ganesh murti, a diya holder or a pooja thali, the warm temple white from Nagaur district. Vietnam white marble is cooler and more even, and suits boxed sets with clean flat faces. Black stone takes a mirror polish and reads as a corporate gift rather than a devotional one. Dholpur pink sandstone gives a warm, matte, Rajasthani Lakshmi. Cast marble dust keeps a hand-painted gold Lakshmi-Ganesh pair affordable at gifting counts.
Caring for marble diyas and puja pieces after Diwali
Oil is the one thing to watch with a marble diya holder or puja thali. Marble is porous, and ghee or mustard oil left on it soaks in and darkens the stone. Burn the oil in a small brass or clay diya or a tealight cup set into the holder, rather than pouring oil onto the stone, and wipe away soot while it is fresh with a dry cloth. Kumkum and haldi can stain a white surface, so empty the boxes after the puja. For everything else, dry dusting and a barely damp cloth are enough. Keep lemon, vinegar and bathroom cleaners away, because acids etch a polished surface permanently.
Make your Diwali gift yours
Everything here is a starting point. If you like a piece but want it in another stone, at another size, with a simpler border or with your family or company name on it, that is a normal request. You are equally welcome to send something that is not on this page: a photograph, a design from an old family piece, or a sketch of a gift box you have in mind. We design it with you, brief the sculptors who make it, and deliver it to the addresses you name, in India or abroad.
Send us the pieces you like, how many, and the date you need them by.
