Handcrafted Pink Marble Ram-Sita Standing Pair, 2ft

This 2-foot Ram-Sita standing pair is hand-carved from Rajasthani pink marble, the soft blush-toned stone quarried around Kishangarh and Ajmer that has dressed Rajput havelis and temple shrines for generations. Where most Ram Darbar murtis arrive in cool white marble, this pair carries a warm rose glow that softens under altar lamplight — a gentler, more feminine register for a devotional couple. Shri Ram stands to the left, his bow resting at his side and his right hand raised in abhaya mudra, the gesture of fearlessness and blessing. Sita Mata stands at his side holding a lotus, her sari and jewellery rendered fold by fold, her bearing serene and upright. Both figures wear layered garlands, crowned mukut, and a tilak on the brow, and both rest on an integrated lotus-carved pedestal so the pair sits elevated and complete — a true standing Vivah composition rather than a seated darbar. The carving is finished to a soft satin polish that catches a low sheen without turning glassy, keeping the marble reading as honest stone. Fine chisel and rasp detail is preserved across the drapery and the diffuse grey-rose veining of the pink ground remains visible, so each piece is unmistakably hand-worked.
