This handcrafted Dagdusheth Ganpati statue brings the beloved form of Pune's most cherished Ganesha into your home. Modelled on the richly adorned Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati, the deity sits serene and regal, one hand raised in blessing while the trunk curves left toward a modak — the promise of prosperity and the gentle removal of obstacles. The piece is carved from Vietnam White Marble, a bright, cool-toned stone prized for its clean porcelain-white body and fine crystalline grain. Finished with a natural mirror polish, the surface catches light softly without ever looking glassy, letting the crispness of the carving — the beaded ornaments, the tiered mukut, the folds of the dhoti — read clearly from across a room. Every detail follows traditional iconography: four arms holding auspicious attributes, a tall ornate mukut, layered malas across the chest, and the faithful mushak resting at the base of the lotus, gazing up at his lord.
