Bhagwan Swaminarayan — Sahajanand Swami, the divine founder of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya — is captured here in a moment of quiet grace: seated in padmasana, his right hand lifted in abhaya mudra, the age-old gesture of blessing and fearlessness, while his left hand rests open upon the knee. The tilak-chandlo marks his forehead, the paghdi (turban) frames a calm, youthful face, and the dhoti and upper-cloth fall in softly carved folds. It is an image built for daily darshan — serene, luminous, and unmistakably devotional.

The murti is hand-carved from Vietnam White Marble (Crystal White), a fine-grained stone prized for its cool, clean, bright-white tone. Under natural light it reads as a pure porcelain white — never warm or cream — and its slight translucency lets the surface glow softly from within at the thin edges. Finished to a soft satin polish, the marble keeps a gentle, non-glaring sheen that flatters the fine facial detail and the delicate carving of the ornamental necklace and cushioned base.
