The peacock's tail is fanned wide into a full prabhavali behind the deity, a radiant halo of stone feathers framing the youthful, crowned face. In his hand rests the Vel, the divine spear granted by his mother, while beneath the peacock's claw a serpent lies subdued — the whole composition a study in poise, victory and grace.
