About This Piece
This hand-carved Venkateswara stands 30 inches tall in luminous Makrana white marble, presented in full alankaram — the festive shringar in which Tirupati Balaji is adorned for darshan. The Lord of the Seven Hills is shown in the classic standing sthanaka posture, four-armed and serene, a centrepiece worthy of a family pooja room or a temple donation. Every canonical attribute is rendered with care. The Sudarshana chakra rests in the upper-right hand and the Panchajanya shankha in the upper-left, while the lower-right hand opens in varada mudra toward the devotee's feet and the lower-left settles on the hip in katyavalambita. A tall conical kiritamukuta crowns the head, and the distinctive white U-shaped tirunamam marks the forehead — the unmistakable sign of Venkateswara — framed by layered flower and tulsi garlands and finely carved ornaments. Makrana marble, the same stone chosen for India's most enduring monuments, gives the piece its bright, softly translucent white surface and fine crystalline grain. Finished to a soft satin polish, the carving catches temple light gently rather than glaring, so the garlands, jeweled detailing and pleated drapery read with quiet depth. Tilak Mandirwala curates and commissions each statue to order through a trusted network of master sculptors in Jaipur. Size, finish and alankaram detailing can be tailored for your pooja mandir, a festive display or a temple offering — reach out and our team will guide you through options, timelines and safe delivery to your door.
