About This Piece

The whole court of Ayodhya in one composition

This Ram Darbar set gathers the whole court of Ayodhya into a single hand-carved composition: Lord Ram at the centre, tallest of the four, holding his bow with his right hand raised in abhaya mudra; Mata Sita at his left with a lotus in her hand; Lakshman standing to the right with his own bow; and Hanuman kneeling at the feet, palms joined in anjali, the very image of devotion. Carved as one piece on a single moulded base, it reads as a complete darbar rather than four separate murtis placed side by side.

The stone is Vietnam White Marble — a bright, cool, milky-white marble prized for its fine crystalline grain and clean, even tone. It takes crisp detail without the warm cream cast of some Indian marbles, so the jewellery, the layered garlands, the pleated dhotis and Sita's draped sari all hold their edges sharply. The surface is given a soft satin polish: a gentle glow that catches the light of a diya without the glassy, plastic sheen of a full mirror finish.

Thirty inches scaled for a home mandir, and commissioning yours

At roughly 30 inches (2.5 feet) tall, the set is scaled for a home mandir, a pooja-room shelf or a family shrine rather than a temple hall. It is large enough to preside over daily aarti yet compact enough to sit comfortably on a marble platform or wooden chowki. Every figure keeps its canonical attributes — Ram's bow, Sita's lotus, Hanuman's kneeling anjali — so the darbar is iconographically correct for regular worship.

As a made-to-order piece, Tilak Mandirwala works with its network of master marble sculptors in Jaipur to carve each Ram Darbar to order. Colour, exact height and finish can be adjusted on request, and the piece is packed and delivered with the care a devotional murti deserves.
